The double room at Virginia Cottage was cozy and inviting, with a DVD player for some movie nights and an electric kettle for my much-needed cup of tea. It made me feel right at home, perfect for someone like me who craves that direct touch with nature.
Personally, I found the electric kettle a little noisy, but hey, that's just me. Others might not mind it at all.

The location in a quiet village with a charming local shop and a fantastic pub with a talented chef made our stay even more delightful. Louise, the hostess, was incredibly hospitable, ensuring we were well taken care of from the moment we arrived. She even arranged a table for us at the nearby pub for our evening meal. The cottage is located in a peaceful village with a local shop and a great pub with delicious food. The host, Louise, was extremely welcoming and made us feel like part of her family. The bed was comfortable and the village was quiet at night. Louise went out of her way to tailor our breakfast to our liking and even invited us to watch a TV show with her. the atmosphere was friendly and warm.
Felt safe walking at night, no complaints.
